Preferred Specimen Collection Device(s)
Reference Interval

Method MEIA Kidney / Liver

Initial Period 10 - 15 ng/mL

Maintenance Period 5 - 10 ng/mL

Recommended target ranges for tacrolimus are largely based on immunoassay values
(MEIA) for liver or kidney transplant. Results by LC/MS/MS are generally lower than those generated by immunoassay owing to LC/MS/MS specificity for the parent drug and the effects of other factors.
