One 3 mL lavender or pink (K2 EDTA) top tube, serum separator tube, CSF, synovial fluid, or tissue. Specimen source is required.

Transport 1 mL CSF, synovial fluid, serum, or plasma in a sterile container, frozen. Tissue: transfer to sterile container and freeze immediately.
Stability Ambient: 8 hours (excludes tissue); Refrigerated: 3 days (excludes tissue); Frozen: 1 year
Unacceptable Conditions Heparinized specimens.
